A Court of Mist and Fury

I haven't sobbed over a book like this since reading Dumbledore's death….in 2005. Just minutes ago I was weeping uncontrollably, and heaving and bawling my eyes out as I read pages 610 through 620. That alone earns this book a five-star rating. The tears blurred my vision so much that finishing it was a real challenge. This deep emotional engagement and caring for the story and characters is exactly what I seek in books. That as wall as vibes and my level of entertainment while reading. And this book was all of these. Edit: I realised I lied because I have indeed sobbed myself to sleep for three consecutive days, my soul hollow, after reading Manacled last year. But this heart wrenching soul ripping gem of a story isn’t technically a book (yet).

Note : 5/5 Ce tome est tout simplement incroyable du début à la fin. L'histoire monte véritablement en crescendo, la tension tout au long du livre est très bien amenée, l'évolution des personnages également. Les rebondissements nous tiennent en haleine, de quoi dévorer le livre et ne plus pouvoir le lâcher. Gros coup de cœur pour ce tome qu'on ne peut que recommander.

If the first book was great, this one is just awesome! The story and the characters are very well written. I loved the evolution of Feyre all along the book. And the end comes in and left me breathless! I cannot do anything but recommand it!

Un vrai bonheur à lire, je l’ai dévoré. L’intrigue et l’univers sont très bien étoffes. Et les descriptions sont magnifiques. La psychologie des personnages est très bien géré et on s’attache très facilement au nouveaux personnages. Le personnage de Feyre a une super évolution et une vrai monter en puissance au fils du livre. La fin est super haletante et donne vraiment envie d’attaquer aussitôt le prochain tome
