Good Omens

I don't think I ever read a book with that level of irony and sarcasm. I loved that everything wasn't black and white between angels and demons, Crowley and Aziraphale - even if Aziraphale likes to think so. And the end, that was exactly what I didn't expect, but made so much sense once it happened. Ineffable husbands definitely.

Suuuuch a good book: well-written, extremely funny but still emotionally engaging. I could not put it down until I knew how it ended. I highly recommend it.

J'ai bien aimé ce livre plein de sarcasme. La manière dont est abordée la religion et le côté Biblique est vraiment originale et pleine d'humou. Cependant j'ai trouvé le roman un peu trop long et les changements intempestifs de point de vue ainsi que les noms à rallonge de certains personnages rendent la coppréhension plus compliquée. D'une manière générale l'anglais employé est plutôt "vieux" et peut parfois être difficile à aborder pour un/une non-anglophone comme moi. Petit coup de coeur pour le personnage de Crowley qui est une pépite.
