Human Rites

Another winter of war and survival demands sacrifices... Food is in short supply and the cold is unbearable. In a tantalising ménage-à-trois between a Professor, his assistant, and a student, only the books bear witness to their plight. Human Rites is a provocative play that questions our natural instincts and asks how far we are prepared to go in order to survive. It was produced at the Southwark Playhouse in January 2005.
